Just Brands commits to reducing the environmental impacts of its own operations through a strategy, which includes water, waste, energy and greenhouse gases reduction activities. The brand monitors and measures its organisational energy consumption and identifies potential actions to reduce it. There is an opportunity for the brand to ensure legal compliance relevant to environmental impacts from its own operations. These foundational activities have resulted in a level 1 score of 77%.
Just Brands’ own operations strategy includes SMART targets with specific timelines and progress monitoring. There is room for the brand to monitor and measure GHG emissions and prioritise and implement GHG reduction activities. Furthermore the brand should support its entire staff to reduce the impact of its own operations through the provision of training. These activities have resulted in a level 2 score of 29%.
This year Just Brands has chosen to assess itself against level 1 and 2 only. The brand did not submit evidence for level 3, which evaluates best practice.
